With a brief historical reflection, Hans Robertus will offer insight into the steps taken in the maturing process of the design field. His presentation focuses on the growth opportunities ahead of us, with an emphasis on possibilities to increase the impact of design thinking. This talk will also consider the importance of closer collaboration with parties within the public domain.

Hans Robertus joined Philips Design in 1991 and became the director of Dutch Design Week 2009. He was also the creative director Design Cooperation Brainport. Now he works as a Design thinking consultant and is a keen ambassador for the sector.
This talk will be moderated by Mary-Ann Schreurs, former councillor of design & innovation and strategic advisor.
