The future of healthcare is all about personalized medicine and monitoring health by biosensors. SensUs stimulates innovation in biosensing by organizing a yearly international student competition.
Theme of SensUs 2019 is: rheumatic arthritis. The challenge will be to develop a biosensor for measuring Adalimumab, RA’s most prescribed pharmaceutical drug worldwide. Such a biosensor vastly improves the quality of life of patients.

Luuk Kemna and Yannick Leurs are the driving forces behind TU/e-based SensUs. They told you all about SensUs’ goals and results so far in their presentation at this week’s Innovation Café.
