How do we design regenerative food systems -shifting beyond sustainable way of farming, regenerating the soil, reducing the distance from farm to fork, building robust food systems that are resilient to external shocks and reducing the risk of future pandemics? Ceren Bagatar, Co-founder and Creative consultant at Kode21 answered these questions and shares examples of the regenerative movement, including their design concept “Co-`farm” which tackles some of these problems head-on.

Ceren is the co-founder and creative consultant specialized in Agriculture and Food Systems (among others) at Kode21. Kode21 is among the first design studios focused on climate solutions. Ceren was ex-Senior Design Lead for healthcare domain at Philips Healthcare. She is a beekeeper and a well-travelled creative specialized in user-centered-design for healthcare, public transport, sustainable energy and consumer lifestyle solutions; with numerous international awards and a MA degree from Umea Institute of Design, Sweden.
