BIOTRIP is an entrepreneurial engine working to create efficiency, rigor and scale to empower leading scientists in immunotherapy drug development. This privately held company is supported by an experienced team of industry experts and international investigators to ensure rational assessment and selection of innovative ideas based on their potential societal impact and benefit to patients’ lives. Its overarching goal is to help patients dealing with chronic inflammatory conditions, infectious and cardiovascular diseases, and cancer through biomedical engineering.

Willem Mulder, Ph.D., is a biomedical engineer with a background in nano chemistry. His research is at the interface of biomedical engineering, translational preclinical research, and immunology. His research group develops bioengineering tools to therapeutically regulate and visualize (innate) immune responses, with a particular focus on innate immune memory.
