EIC | 24 NOVEMBER

In what ways can music, science and technology come together? Tonight we explore these themes from a personal point of view. Steven Henry delves into the route he took until were he is now in his professional life. The presentation will be supplemented with short music&tech performances. It will be a unique mix between an inspiring talk and an original performance.

Steven Henry is a bass clarinet specialist and composer. He studied clarinet at the conservatory in Tilburg and specialised on bass clarinet with the world-renowned bass clarinetist Henri Bok. At the TU/e Steven graduated in the field of physics.
Although classically trained, Steven Henry enjoys exploring many musical worlds and technological possibilities; such influences can be heard in his compositions and performances, which often transcend genre definition.
